Ice Skating

Free ice skating is returned at DEN Airport

Now here’s a superb, free airport amenity:

The Denver International Airport (DEN) ice skating rink is returned for its fifth season.

The rink took a two-year pandemic pause. But it’s lower back. And from ow thru January 1, 2023 passengers and airport traffic – even site visitors from other planets – are invited to ice-skate free of charge at the outside plaza between the DEN terminal and the Westin Hotel.

The DEN ice-skating rink is open every day from eleven a.m. to 7 p.m., climate allowing.

The skate shop gives free ice skate “leases” in multiple sizes and is placed in the Westin inn at the west aspect close to Tivoli Restaurant and Brewery.

Refreshments and holiday treats are available for buy inside the skate store and, for folks that simply need to hang out, there’s outdoor lounge seating.

The ice rink is positioned pre-security and is just steps from RTD’s A-Line commuter rail station at DEN, or a short stroll from the airport parking garages.

Let’s make this Airport Amenity of the Week!
