Southwest expands Hawaii flights from California

Southwest Airlines introduced new nonstop flights from Mineta San Jose International Airport (SJC) to both Kona (KOA), on the island of Hawaii, and Lihue, Kauai (LIH) will begin flying in January 2020.

Once these flights begin, you’ll be capable of fly to all 4 foremost Hawaiian Islands nonstop from SJC.

Southwest will begin flights among SJC and Lihue four days according to week (Mon/Wed/Fri/Sun) beginning January 19, 2020. Flights to Kona will be 3 times a week (Tue/Thu/Sat) beginning January 21.

These new flights will be similarly to Southwest’s existing every day, nonstop flights among SJC and each Honolulu and Kahului (Maui), which began in May.

Mixed Media Collage artist Fernando Del Rosario brings his “Real Heroes” series of inspiring costs and authentic composed art – made from comedian books – to John Wayne Airport (JWA).

“My Real Heroes collection is supposed to seize you, lose yourself within every piece and come out inspired, prompted, and creatively recharged,” stated Del Rosario. “Every this kind of comedian book pages is from my series as a kid. And that is my manner of sharing my story and my thought with the general public.”

Del Rosario’s art work is on show in the JWA Community Focus Space from August 15 – September 17, 2019.
