Now here’s a awesome, free airport amenity:
The Denver International Airport (DEN) ice skating rink is returned for its 5th season.
The rink took a two-yr pandemic pause. But it’s again. And from ow through January 1, 2023 passengers and airport traffic – even visitors from other planets – are invited to ice-skate totally free at the out of doors plaza among the DEN terminal and the Westin Hotel.
The DEN ice-skating rink is open day by day from eleven a.m. to 7 p.m., weather permitting.
The skate shop offers loose ice skate “leases” in more than one sizes and is positioned in the Westin inn at the west side near Tivoli Restaurant and Brewery.
Refreshments and excursion treats are to be had for purchase in the skate save and, for people who simply want to hang around, there’s outside front room seating.
The ice rink is placed pre-security and is simply steps from RTD’s A-Line commuter rail station at DEN, or a brief stroll from the airport parking garages.
Let’s make this Airport Amenity of the Week!
