The eleven- day Fiesta San Antonio birthday party is underway. And the birthday celebration extends to the airport.

San Antonio International Airport (SAT) holds an annual Fiesta Takes Flight Parade in the terminal. This year’s event became on April 2.

Hundreds of airline and airport employees, their families, and even tourists take part inside the Fiesta Takes Flight Parade within the center of the airport’s terminals. The parade capabilities actual coronation attire, entertainment, precise parade floats, colourful fiesta apparel, and festive colors all through the airport.

Trophies are provided to parade members for creativity, spirit, originality, colorfulness, subject matter, and spirit. American Airlines won the first region trophy. Southwest Airlines gained 2d location. And Delta Air Lines, Aeromexico and Viva Aerobus tied for 1/3.

One of the airport’s fiesta traditions is to distribute colourful medals to vacationers. This yr’s medal featured The Star of Texas or La Estrella de Texas, an art set up at the entrance to the airport via Mexican artist Sebastian.
