Cool Clay showcase at Denver International Airport

Artist: Dean Goss

We’re now not certain how we missed the declaration of this cool showcase at Denver International Airport (DEN). But in case you’re passing via DEN this month, be sure to take a second to go to the Colorado Clay showcase close to the A-Bridge checkpoint.

Visual Artists at Work at IAH & HOU Airports

Houston Airports owns one of the usa’s largest public art collections. Now it has an Artist-in-Residence (AIR) application.

During a 3-month-lengthy residency, visible artist and educator Jaymes Earl will paintings with textiles at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH). Visual Artist and educator Mathieu JN Baptiste will paint at William P. Hobby Airport (HOU).

Houston Airports will provide each artist with an easel, a computing device, and a monthly stipend to cover their artwork materials. And the travelling public will get to look artists at paintings. Both artists may be working in outstanding spots in the airport and, to maximize interaction with vacationers, they’ll be doing an awful lot of their work within the evenings and throughout weekends.

“As air tour returns to pre-pandemic ranges and with those artists in the airports during the holidays, our travelers may have an great experience to enjoy artwork and tradition with out ever having to go away the airport,” stated Alton DuLaney, Curator of Public Art for Houston Airports.
