Cool Clay exhibit at Denver International Airport

Artist: Dean Goss

We’re no longer certain how we ignored the assertion of this cool exhibit at Denver International Airport (DEN). But if you’re passing thru DEN this month, be sure to take a second to go to the Colorado Clay showcase close to the A-Bridge checkpoint.

Visual Artists at Work at IAH & HOU Airports

Houston Airports owns one of the united states’s biggest public artwork collections. Now it has an Artist-in-Residence (AIR) software.

During a three-month-lengthy residency, visible artist and educator Jaymes Earl will work with textiles at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH). Visual Artist and educator Mathieu JN Baptiste will paint at William P. Hobby Airport (HOU).

Houston Airports will provide every artist with an easel, a notebook, and a month-to-month stipend to cover their artwork supplies. And the visiting public will get to see artists at work. Both artists may be running in outstanding spots inside the airport and, to maximise interaction with tourists, they’ll be doing plenty in their work inside the evenings and at some point of weekends.

“As air journey returns to pre-pandemic tiers and with those artists in the airports during the vacations, our vacationers can have an extraordinary revel in to revel in art and lifestyle without ever having to go away the airport,” stated Alton DuLaney, Curator of Public Art for Houston Airports.
