It’s Souvenir Sunday, a day to take a look at specific, locally-themed presents you may purchase whilst you’re caught on the airport.
This week’s treats: Coconut Pineapple and Guava Bread from Honolulu’s Daniel K. Inouye International Airport.

Courtesy HMSHost
The breads, now on sale in a few shops on the airport, began as a treat baked up by using HMSHost and presented in worker cafe.
Pilots and flights crews started out snapping up loaves to take to the mainland and finally HMSHost – which operates many shops at HNL and other airports approximately the country – decided to make the bread available to vacationers as nicely.
Now Makai Plantation and The Local within the Garden View Food Court (C-Gates location) sell the selfmade Coconut Pineapple and Guava Breads.
Other treats to find a HNL airport encompass sparkling flower leis, hula female embellishes, Spam-flavored macadamia nuts, and ukeleles.
Leis are everywhere on the airport. Even on the signal for the ladies’s restrooms.
