Now open at DFW Airport: Gameway gaming zones

Today is the grand starting of the Gameway online game entertainment living room at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.

There are locations: E16 with 22 stations and B42 with 14 stations. Each station has it’s personal Xbox with 19 video games predownloaded, a 4K TV, noise cancelling headphones and a place to rate your smartphone and tablet.

It isn't always free: the fee is $.42/minute or, for this summer, $20 for unlimited gaming, which looks like a remarkable deal in case you’re a gamer and you've got a protracted layover. Or don’t mind if you pass over a flight….

If you’re in DFW Monday July 2 from 10-11:30am, swing via Terminal E, Gate 16 wherein Gameway may be celebrating its opening with numerous gaming characters dressed up like the iconic Halo, the eight foot metallic large “Reinhardt” and greater.

My 15-year vintage son turned into exhausted from a weekend at Yu-Gi-Oh Nationals, so he didn’t eat to leave his perch at our gate (E7) and notice or attempt it. I asked the supervisor if they thought approximately alarms so people don’t omit their flight. 🙂
